First bolt build

I didn't know MDT made a carbon stock, it looks like a pretty sweet design but man they are proud of it!

Ya wasn’t pretty paying for it but figured if I’m going to build something it should be what I want. Isn’t that kinda the point😅
 
The rifle looks great. Did you use a shouldered prefit or have a smith chamber and thread it for you? How does it shoot?

It shoots great. Bolt feels a bit sticky but I need to test a few different ammo loads out to see if it’s because of the Barnes I’m shooting. I bought a blank and had my local smith thread everything up for me as well as the muzzle brake. Hasn’t had a chance on any game yet but hopefully in the next couple days it’ll do the job.

One thing I will say about the action, or bolt handle at least is that it comes awfully close to the scope. Not a problem at the range but time will tell if it’s an issue in the field.
