That reticle does NOT come in the NX8 line otherwise I would agree, something to consider. However, it does not and is still the reason why you do not get the NX8 because it’s FFP and to small to be seen at 1x magnification.

That reticle is only available in the ATACR. They launched that back in February of 2021 and was available mid June 2021. Once again, not the same models. The ATACR 1-8x24 would be a significantly better option over the NX8.
Ooops...I better tell my NX8 1-8 that it has the wrong reticle!

I stand corrected, however when I was shopping for scopes for my 375 that reticle did not exist in either the ATACR or NX8. It appears they added that reticle to the NX8 mid-year 2022. So, one can disregard my old statement. Technology does change over time which does make older views/opinions/statements obsolete or less accurate.

IDShane, congrats on getting a 375 H&H. I used a fixed 2.5 Leupold back in the day on a Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 375 H&H with good results in Africa and Alaska. Today my 375s (I own three) wear 1.7-10x42 (two-Swarovski Z6i) and 2-12x42 (one-Leupold VX-6HD) scopes with illuminated /fire dot duplex reticles. That is all you need for Brown Bear, Black Bear, Moose, Elk, Cape Buffalo and African plains game. Many an Elephant has fallen to the 375 H&H over the years (the 458s are better for Elephant, IMO). The 375 H&H is a great dangerous game/big game/plains game hunting cartridge. Good luck on your hunts with your 375. Cool stuff.

Uhh, no.

The FC-DMX has been an option in the 1-8 NX8 for almost a year now I believe. It’s listed right on NF’s website and Euro Optic has them on the shelf.

I wouldn’t buy another one though, I got one when they were first released and they had the worst fish eye of any LPVO I’ve ever used. It also has a short eye relief, it’s shorter than the 3.7” spec’d so not ideal for a 375 H&H.
