Hunt Backcountry with Mark Huelsing and Steve Speck is good. Just started with a few episodes so far but I'm liking it. I do like Gritty Bowmen but kind of get burned out on all the crossfit/paleo stuff.

The new one from the guys at Exo wasn't too bad. I listened to the first one last weekend.

I really, really enjoyed the first Randy Newberg podcast. I was talking out loud agreeing with him most of the podcast. It was that good. I'm excited to listen to more. I felt motivated to email and tell him what an awesome podcast it was. His comments about uncle Ted were spot on. And he talked about how it was healthy to have open friendly discussion on the issues in the hunting world. We don't have to agree with each other, but we should have friendly dialog when we disagree. It's always chapped my you-know-what when people say we have to present a united front on all issues. I think we find that friendly, open dialog here on Rokslide and I think its very healthy. Can't say enough for his podcast.

Hunt Talk and Meat Eater are the best podcasts I've heard.
If they have 60 minutes of podcast time, they have 60 minutes of good material.

Too many others have 30-40 minutes of material and 60 minutes of podcast.

I need to listen to Hunt Backcountry

Try podcast chart.com. there are a ton of good shows on there. Not hunting but good. I hit a bunch of the splendid table casts this week.

Gritty Bowmen is by far the best hunting podcast I have listened to. I like many others but as far as production quality, actually putting out new podcast(Some podcast have not put out a new cast in months), different media availability(audio and video), guest and host quality(not talking over guest) it beats all the rest.

I listen to Meat Eater, Gritty, Randy Newburg, Wired2Hunt

I dont think Gritty has much of a show without Mr Snyder. He makes the show! Ive listened to every episode and the majority have him on it which I prefer to the ones that dont. Aron better be getting a chunk of that pie!

I will disagree. I've just about listened through all of the Gritty podcast and I like them all. The ones with South Cox, Corey Jacobsen, and the others are all great. Of course I like the podcast with Aaron too and it is neat that he is a regular on the podcast.

Agreed! ^^^^^^^^ the 3 with south cox was one of my favorite podcast. And I follow Randy Newberg, a alittle of Jay scott, meat eater, and a few others. Guy Eastman made a appearance on Rich outdoors that I thought was very good.

Without A-ron, gritty just wouldn't be the same! The bit where they were referencing broke back mountain and Aron pipes in with "I won't give up on you" still makes me laugh. Funny dude.

Newer podcast available- Full Draw Full Time with South Cox and Kody Kellom as the hosts. Listened to one today interviewing Dwight Schuh, that I enjoyed very much. Looking forward to more content from South and Kody.

Natural born hunters is probably my favorite right now. To be honest Will got on my nerves in the first episode I listened to and I almost deleted their entire feed but it got better.

Gritty bowman is ok but man there should be a pool started each week on how many times he references his POW trip.

I listened to the rich outdoors marlen holden episode the one thing that stuck out to me was everything was all about him and his abilities but where he was talking about this year's tag he goes "WE have a good team together on this I am pretty sure WE are going to be able to get this done" what is the team and what do they do.

Hunt backcountry not really impressed with the Alaska hunt episode. Kept referring to their outfitter as a guide, it didn't seem like they did any research at all on what they were doing or where they were going. Pretty sure a couple questions here or on AOD would have gotten them a wealth of info. They had just had an episode on food and almost run out of food on a drop hunt DAYS before they were scheduled to be picked up.

I tried listening to the Hunt Backcountry one but I just couldn't do it. The main host annoys me to no end. Just the cadence or tone or something. Pretty much the exact oppostive of like Gus Johnson, who I love.

Not sure if many guys on here have heard of the journal of mountain hunting. But Adam has a podcast now and its called "beyond the kill". Great podcast, he had Donnie Vincent on , mark Paulsen from wilderness athlete and some other great guests. Definitely worth checking out

I really like all of the ones mentioned so far but one thing so far has really bugged me about Randy Newberg's Podcast. He just can't stop referring to himself in the third person. Awesome content but drives me up the wall!

My two favorites right now are Meat Eater and Randy Newberg by a long shot. I also enjoy Gritty Bowman. I generally like Hunt Backcountry but I get annoyed with how many times Mark says "in terms of" in every episode. Most of the time it feels like the wrong usage of that phrase... I apologize in advance to those of you who didn't notice it before, it will probably bug you now too. It's s good podcast in general but as much as I like Mark, his interviewing skills could be improved.

I've listened to a bunch of Jay Scott Outdoors as well. He is a great guy and I appreciate his values but at times his stuff can be kind of slow. He does offer up some good info.

Hey guys I keep forgetting to post this on here. Me and one of my bass fishing buddies started a podcast called "Hook and Arrow" go give it a listen and let me know what you think.

He seems like a good guy I just think he doesn't have a good voice for podcasts. Rinella and Newburg both have good "radio voices". As a result, HB kind of bores me. Mark, if you read this, not trying to throw shade.
