What pistol do you carry in the back country?

Was windicator 357mag 2 inch....with bb hard cast.....cheap and reliable...don't mind if I drop it or scratch the daylights out of it.

Super Redhawk .44 5 1/2 in 340 gr BB in a Kenai chest rig

44 mag 329pd. I put a tritium front sight on as well as a crimson trace grip. Happily, the laser sight works and has maintained accuracy after hundreds of shots.

Glock 20sf. Underwood extreme penetrators & hard cast staggered.
This my exact set up too. I like the fantasy of some tissue damage if my hard cast doesn’t hit bone or brain... also have XS night sight and laser

Non grizzly country it’s my s&w airline with crimson grip laser and BB outdoorsman semi hard cast was cutters. And people loads on a speed loader.

2.5" 357 magnum, S&W Model 19 with 158 gr LSWC, or 158 gr JSP handloads. It's cerakoted, because I bought it used, pitted, about 20 years ago. It's been on a lot of hunting, hiking, & fishing trips.
I have he same gun in blue, it's about the perfect size and caliber for most excursions unless you are in big bear
country.
