If I'm not shooting my bow at foam, i spend most of my time fly fishing for smallmouth bass, and any saltwater species. Also spend a lot of time hiking and backpacking. Basically anything to get me outside.

I have now become addicted to running. When I was in the Army i said I would never run again when I got out.

Over the last few months I’ve gotten back into running and now I’m doing 5-10 miles 3-4x a week. I’m going to run my first half marathon soon and then going for a full marathon within the next 6 months. After that I have a goal of doing at least one ultra marathon before I turn 40. I’ve got 2.5 years to do that.

Super busy… we have 5 kids, 3 girls & 2 boys. All are active, we’re in some form of sport year round.

I coach football for my youngest boys team. Both are avid baseball players & wrestlers as well. My youngest son took 2nd in the State tournament last year at his weight class.

My youngest daughter wrestles & played softball. Both love to shoot and fish. My youngest will hunt in a few years, she’s only 9.

My oldest graduated high school this year and is now heading onto bigger things.

My wife is self employed and keeps me busy building things.

We travel a few times a year. Big game is a family affair. Sometimes they all join us in the field and have contributed in harvesting animals. Most of the time it’s just the boys and I.

We’re fanatical duck/goose hunters and spend too many days chasing them , if you asked my boss.

In between all of that I fish, shoot, read, work out regularly & am starting a side business later this fall. There’s not much room for more.

Motorcycles for me too. Mine can stand up all by itself… sometimes it likes to lay down, but only if I do my part.
And fishing.

Best is when I combine the two with a little camping.

For instance , I'm swamped at work , working overtime trying to get caught up !!! Anyway I get home this evening, eat dinner and I think maybe I can just take a little nap ?????? I stretch out and Nope , my year old pup comes running over and proceeds to give me a Wet Willie !!!!!! Until I get up and take him out , because He's a Draght and hunting is all he thinks about ......So yeah, hunting , guns , and longbows are about it Ha!ha

-jet boating
-working out
-pack rafting
-fishing

besides fishing and hunting, i guess rock hounding would be another recreational activity i enjoy.... i have always pretty much spent all of my free time in the woods or on the water my whole life.

love hanging out with my family too, my dogs are obviously included

i have never had any hobbies that weren't related to fishing and hunting, and certainly can't afford any other hobbies
