My Mathews Switchback is still going strong. Like some others, I look every spring at the new bows that come out and think I need a new one, but my Switchback still works great.

Same bow, Same choice every year. It's a killer, so why change it??????

Man I had no idea Hoyt had that big of a chunk of the market! Cool to see what everyone shoots

Well the more I keep shooting the new bows the more I keep leaning towards the Chill. No disrespect Evan but I don't see any comparison between the Ballistic and the Chill, just going off shootability and smoothness, IMO the Chill is the smoothest shooting bow I have ever shot. The Ballistic might have more weight range, but I'm only one guy and won't ever need it below 65lbs or shorter or longer than 27". :) At my local pro shop I'm limited to Hoyt, Mathews, Mission and Prime. Haven't shot them all but have shot all the new Hoyt's and Mathews and the Chill is one smooth shooting rig... Time will tell I guess! :)

juan Id, shoot/ buy what feels good to you. It would be boring if we all shot the same bows!!

I just picked up a Mathews Drenalin. This will be my first bow hunting season and I'm stoked.

I started 2 years ago with the Bowtech Assassin and I like how it shoots so I'm sticking with it. I know there are better bows but if I shoot one I'll just end up spending more money I don't have.

Juan, where in Idaho are you? I have narrowed my 2013 bow choices down to Hoyt and G5 Prime and it would be great to go to one place to shoot bows side by side.

Well I think I may change my mind and go with a Hoyt Spyder 30 w/ #2 cams at 70#. Shooting our demo today a little and its shooting really well for me even though its too long. Decisions decisions.

I was going to elaborate in that post how it's very interesting how everybody more or less wants the same thing, a smooth accurate bow and their preferences can be WAY different... But yes I'm smart enough to not let anyone else's opinions/preferences pick my new bow for me! :)

I am in Twin Falls

What bow are you using for big game in 2013?

same one i used in 2008. i almost bought a new bow last week but its really hard to justify one with how good mine shoots. the one thing that makes me keep looking is wieght. new ones are lighter. speed i could care less about,i havent seen a elk that can out run arrows from this one yet

Hoyt vector turbo, 80 lb limbs, smackdown pro rest, spot hogg boss hogg sight, tight spot quiver, Bernie's front and back stab, black eagle deep impact arrows.

Just ordered a Mathews Creed last night. Sweet shooting bow. Wanted to try a couple Hoyts but being a lefty, I could not grip their right handed bows. On the bright side it made my choice a little easier with 2 less bows to consider. Now the wait begins....
