So I tried the 10 shot group test. Browning X-Bolt in 6.8W, 24” barrel with a brake. Factory rifle. Shooting 175 grain SGK hand loads. Range is 100 yards, temperature is 57 degrees, 7mph wind. Chronograph registered one shot at 4051 fps, so that one we can toss, not possible to achieve. Rifle is zeroed for 200 yards. Shots were strings of 3, with 10 minutes between strings. What am I seeing here?

I’d say you’re seeing the effects of recoil and shooter input. That’s a lighter rifle burning a decent amount of powder. Whether it’s grip torque or cheek\shoulder input.🤷🏻‍♂️.

It is a lighter rifle, and the barrel is thinner than my other X-bolts.

It recoils differently on bags than on a bipod. You’re likely putting different pressure into the rifle for each.
