Losing 30 lbs by August too! I pity the poor game I will target next Fall, LOL!!!

Continue to consider the wisdom of it’s not the destination, it’s the journey. All these tools and equipment and dreams….money based. Trying to get out of that into true experience. What’s the essence of the thing I’m doing.

Spending more time focusing on my fitness and taking advantage of the current flexibility my job allows me. Also just got a new bird dog so I'll be spending my time turning her into a chukar chasing machine.

Continue to drop more weight. Down 15 lbs now and another 10 to go. I really need to find more time to spend at our property and cabin. Bought the land four years ago and spent lots of time there building a cabin. But now that the cabin is nearly finished I don’t go very often.

Just leave the house and take leave. Currently 950 miles away.

I got in some sort of woods over 300 days last year so I’m going on the basis it actually leaving the region I live in on my answer

Like the title says--what is the SINGLE most important thing you are going to do in 2025 to enjoy your overall time outside more? Could be anything from trying new things, going new places, staying closer to home or traveling, or could be new gear, or NOT using some gear (phone, etc).

For me It's continuing to dive into things I'm a beginner at, I'm enjoying the steep learning curve.
Get a divorce.

A better plan for requesting time off. My job is brutal in regards to that and I need to be better about asking for time off well in advance.

Spending a week in southern Utah this spring, so off to a food start.

Buy less gear!
May sound like an odd one but, since I just got back into going out west, I feel like I have been over stressing about the gear. I think I have that covered and I just need to roll with what I have and get after it!

I am taking a trip to South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Madagascar, and possibly Zambia in September. Planned for a month but will likely have to extend as soon as I see how dope the trip turns out.
