What happened to Shaen rifles?

Did he hang it up? He did a rebarrel for me about a year or so ago. Then his website said he wasn’t taking any more work. Now his website is completely defunct. Anyone had any recent contact with him? He used to post here too.

I have his cell number, last I was texting with him he wasn’t taking on any new clients or much work but it’s been a while.

I sent him all the components for a build including the reamer and he cranked that bad boy out in like 3-4 weeks. This was shortly before he announced his hiatus. What a good guy to talk to as well. Hope he is able to carry on.

I’ll bet he’s like a number of people I know that get a core group of customers and cut it off at that with no new business taken other than occasional close references from existing customers. Hopefully that’s it and nothing bad going on health or family health wise.

Its been about a year since I last talked to Shaen, I know he has kids so I expect he keeps really busy with work and makes time for family as much as possible. Great guy to work with - Merry Christmas to you Shaen if you should see this thread.

Yeah, I wish him the best too. He did work for me right before or as he was shutting down new work and he had a message to that effect on his website. I’ve got a new build in the works now and went to his site to get the phone number and/or to see if he was accepting new work again and there’s no website anymore. I hope all is well.
