What dry fire did you do today?

Living in town sucks. Especially trying to be a better rifleman.
I don't shoot a bow anymore so I've shifted to seeing how much dry fire I can do in my backyard before the cops show up.
I put a 3-4" square on my fence where my archery target used to be with a small black center.

Today is sitting unsupported and kneeling unsupported. Focussing on the process. Imagining Form yelling at me to reset and prep. Keep my face on the gun.

Today I revisited my childhood Fudd shooting sticks. Two electric fence posts rubber banded together and cut to length. Seated supported.
These things are money for the price. Easier to use without inducing torque to the rifle. Faster than trekking poles. Their money for coulee hunting and jumping deer.
Wobble zone was nill using what I learned at S2HU.

No pack in the rear. Just sitting with the soles of my feet together and my right elbow to my knee. Basically like if I'd jumped a deer out of a coulee and had my pack on still.

I wish I had brought these to the S2HU! So much faster than trying to loop trekking pole loops together.

One big take away from master Form was you don't need expensive to shoot well. You don't need a $600 bipod or tripod.

I was looking at getting a roksteady bipod last night. It'd be slick for road hunting. But then I saw my old sticks by my loading bench. I think the super deluxe model I made with heat shrink on the fence poles and ranger rubber bands is still $10. Plenty rigid enough to support a 8-9lb rifle.

Pics of said shooting sticks?

Standing, seated, prone unsupported evolution drills for time. Was able to hit all positions in 16sec.

I set up a toy bear at the end of my hallway as a target. Really happy the Swfa parallax setting comes in so close.

Thanks @TradLife406 for starting the thread!

That's some nice grip tape you have on that stock!

Agreed, living in town sucks. I got the DFAT system last winter and use it weekly. I work from home so i have my "range" set up just behind me so i can rip off a few shots throughout the day. I have way too many of their targets incase anyone is needing a scaled down target.
