I've seen this deer a few times in the same drainage in the mountains. I've got some good pics of him but only seen him during winter months (Dec - March). I would love to find him during hunting season.

Thats a great looking buck and sweet pic! A shooter in my book for sure!

Man, I must be outta practice. I'm getting 185+ Gross
based on averaging each G score
2" G1
17" G2
12" G3
12" G4
22" MBs
22" IS
33" mass
3" non-typ on right G3

I think you're the closest so far.....My guess would be 178-183.

17" G2s?

Those ears are 8-10 inches long. the G2s are something like 12-13"

I think his lack of mass gives the impression of longer tines.

I'll play. 168 gross. One you don't think twice about pulling the trigger.

This buck below went 153" if I remember correctly... Super spindly but decent length where he needs it. The OP buck has better mass (+4"), a few more inches on width and slightly better mainbeams (1.5-2" per measurement = +5-7") plus a kicker (+3"). I see him being about 10-15" bigger than this buck in overall score, but I don't see 30+" of measurements to hit that 180"+ mark. Tricky buck and I wish we would have a chance to see an actual score on him!

Robby manned up, so here is my guess using Robby's "both sides average" score:

1" G1
13" G2
9" G3
11" G4
22" MBs
20" IS
30" mass
2" non-typ on right G3

Gross 164

I think this buck would pleasantly surprise those guessing in the 160s. I put him at 182 gross.
Great pic by the way, would love to sere more.
