For those of you that prepare instant mash potatoes, what do you cook them in. Freezer bags or something.
I found some great dried eggs and tried to cook them in freezer bags in boiling water.The problem was that if the bag was not totally submerged it melted anywhere it touched the pot.How do you get around that .
I use a mtn house bag from the day prior, an empty one. That way the taters get some flavoring.
I do the same thing, but with a backpackers pantry bag, mountain house doesn't taste as good.
