Camping season is upon us, and although I do plenty of backcountry backpack trips throughout the year, I also like to take the family and the camper and stake a spot by a creek somewhere to just chill and hang out. I love to cook while camping and for the past few years I have been using a flat top griddle which has completely changed my life.
I have a few meals that have been winners in our circle but would love to get some more ideas from you guys to change things up a bit.
Some of my favorites include reubens, grilled cheese, chicken casadillas, fajitas of some variety, philly cheese steaks, and of course a big breakfast spread of pancakes/french toast, sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes and so on. My wife also makes a sausage and vegetable dish that is great either by itself or in a tortilla.
