What do you do for work/profession?

Oil and gas industry and save the bulk of my time off for hunting season. I'm in the office and not on rigs, so I can work from the deer stand for the most part. Boss is a hunter as well, so getting time off when I have a deer patterned isnt too hard. Just text him a trail cam picture and he usually asks when im headed out to the stand.

Firefighter. Best job in the world. Would have more time to hunt (48/96 schedule with ample vacation) but I’ve got young kids and a wife. Wouldn’t trade them for anything and I still get out for a few great big game hunts a year.

Why the hell would he mean that? Pisses me off! I guess we find pricks everywhere.
Loosen your panties.
I'm a veterinarian and that's what I just finished doing after writing that post.
Never new I'd be pulling crap out of constipated cats as frequently as I have been when I was in school.

But yeah, I've got prickish tendencies too. Welcome to Rokslide

I work as a chef and love it, found a fine dining restaurant that's open only 4 days a week with sep 1-15th off every year.

Whitetail season is hard to put as many days in but now I can hunt elk every year.

I do sales & purchasing for a wholesale building materials company. It's an ok job but I get tired of the BS & conflicts of interest. I get an average amount of PTO for hunting but don't have any troubles getting the days off I need.
