What did you sew today?

Had my 7 & 8 year olds working on some simple stuff. Both made pencil cases with felt that a couch got shipped wrapped in.

Also had them figure out a pattern and sew up some insulated boot covers. Need to get a pic of finished product but work great with a hand warmer dropped inside.

My feet are always cold and I cant stand heavy boots. Found a $3 down puffy at a thrift store, ripped the seams, and used the panels to make these boot covers. They pack down to a soda can size and should let me hike in with lightweight boots, then slip these over my boots when I'm in a treestand. Not my first choice in color!

I thought it would be fun for people to share their sewing projects and start a whole thread for collaboration.

Disclaimer about my projects: I do have a tag I use to brand mine that you may see on here. I am not offering or advertising them for sale here. Nor am I accepting custom work now or in the near future. This is just for fun.
Drop your latest sewing project, I’ll start.
A chest pack I’m working on:

I read someone say to sew the straps of your bino pack in place when you get it fitted to your size and I had never considered it but it seems like a great idea. My Alsask

I read a post somewhere and someone said to sew the straps of your bino pack when you have it fit to you and thought that was a great idea. I tend to have to cinch down my Alaska guide creations one fairly often while I am hunting
