I think I have my tag plans in place.

I finalized my arrow build. If any of these software programs are to be believed, where I thought I was underspined, I've actually been slightly stiff. So my plans of cutting down the arrow and adding a good amount of weight all check out. I think someone needs to come out with a spine chart with assumptions other than 100 grain point and a standard insert.

I re-installed my side bar. I used to run it two years ago. Then last year I went off on a stabilizer tinkering crusade. I used a Quivalizer (which ended up being a crazy amount of front weight), but switched back to my old set up right before summer minus the side rod to cut down on mass weight. I ended up with too much float and my pins dropping out on me. I've only drawn and held on a small target in the basement, but so far the side rod is being welcomed back with open arms.

Been shooting, but today I could not find my target, it’s so buried in snow. But I did shovel a but load of snow for a “ work out” today.

I'm pretty damn happy shooting a hunting bow set up.

Buying a new release. I want something with a heavier trigger. Looking at a B3 Hawk. My son bought a Short n Sweet and we want to compare the two and see if we have a preference between them. Severely sprained an ankle 10 days ago so I am limiting myself and spending too much time on the internet with my foot elevated. Getting much better so I should be able to start my workouts soon.

Cut my string with a razor blade, so I ordered a new set a lot sooner than I intended.

Never work on your bows with sharp stuff when you're pissed off, lesson learned. Thought I was being careful and one small slip... I've worked on bows for 15 years and never cut a string until last night.

The bow must have been pressed. Because if I used a razor blade while working on my bow while angry.......I'd most likely need an entire new bow because that string would have been cut clean through.

No press, but made it about halfway through. Was cutting some serving off, went in at an angle. No bueno.

Have been working out pretty religiously this offseason, so I'm happy with that. Going to shop for a new bow next week, man I'm pumped
