What did you do in the reloading room today?

Loaded up some ladders to start testing on the new 6.5 PRC
All H1000 with GM210 primers
Have some 140 aero match I picked up off the prize table that I’ll use for practice/fire forming for this gun.
147M
145 TGK

Bought the TGK by mistake thinking they were TMK, doh 😆. But I’ll see how they shoot, anyone have any hunting feedback on these?

I loaded some of the 145 TGKs for a friend and have been impressed with how well they shot. His rifle liked them a bit shorter with more jump. 2.910 coal over 57.5 of h1k and they did great in his prc. Of course his may be totally different but a point of reference at least.

I’ve got a buddy coming over to load some 6 arc and has everything except loading blocks. Looking for suggestions, thanks.
Hardwood plank and a forstner bit in your desired diameter (1/2” should work for 6mm arc). Finish with Tung oil.

Keeps static charge down.
And depending on the wood you select, can make an absolutely stunning reloading heirloom.

Edit:
6ARC has a .376 bolt face, but 0.441” body diameter. Just a little bigger than 7/16th. Go with 1/2” bit if making your own loading block.

Loaded up 100 6 ARCs tonight. 108 ELDMs over lever in alpha brass.

Loaded 25 rounds each of berger 140gr EH with ramshot hunter and RL16 for some testing next weekend.

Also picked up some 140gr eldm to load up and see how they shoot as a cheaper summer plinking bullet.

Got home late from work.
Reloaded 30 230gr XTP hollow points to test out for the 45. If these are accurate and feed reliably, I’ll probably start carrying them. IMG_0923.jpeg

Also put together two more loads to test in my 6GT
107 TMK with 33.5gr Varget.
116 TMK with 37.0gr H4350.

If looking to buy something I very much like the Frankford Arsenal trays.

Hardwood plank and a forstner bit in your desired diameter (1/2” should work for 6mm arc). Finish with Tung oil.
I second this if looking to be crafty^

If looking to go uber cheap, trays from 45 acp ammo box should work if you have any laying around.
