Loaded up some ladders to start testing on the new 6.5 PRC
All H1000 with GM210 primers
Have some 140 aero match I picked up off the prize table that I’ll use for practice/fire forming for this gun.
147M
145 TGK

Bought the TGK by mistake thinking they were TMK, doh 😆. But I’ll see how they shoot, anyone have any hunting feedback on these?

Not in that caliber, but in .257, .277, and .284 they are superb.

Moved about a year ago and just now have been able to get my reloading stuff out of storage (temperature and humidity controlled). Almost finished cleaning out the storage unit and have got the reloading room about 2/3 set up. This is the first time in years that I've had all my brass in one place, and I'm astounded at how much I've got. Well over half of it is good range pick-up stuff in 5-gallon buckets. I've already previously picked out the Berdan primed and bent/mashed/corroded stuff.

Wife's already placed an order for some 38 Spl +P hollowpoint and practice ammo, and son needs some .270 (but he can get his rear-end over here and load it himself, while I "supervise"). I'll post pics when I've got it set up.

BTW: Austin Kaufman's reloading bench is WAAAY too clean and neat! Mine might look that way for about 15 seconds, once a year.... Just sayin'. LOL!

Haha I’m just super ocd and like it neat. I pretty much load every night and like it tidy!

Loaded up 150 more 223s with 75s over Varget. Sized and primed 100 pieces of 6 arc alpha brass to load tomorrow night. I’m putting together a new 6.5 creed so I picked up some dies and bullets today for load dev when I get that gun together hopefully next week.

Preach! 🙌 Mine is the same way. I think a cluttered bench is an easy way for an 'oopsie' of some kind to happen. I'd much rather be a bit OCD in that area, you know?

All week in my reloading lair I've been putting the finishing touches on load development for my 22-250 using a 55gr Norma Tipstrike and H4895. There were quite a few loads in my initial workup that shot so closely to one another it warranted a 10-shot shoot off. After settling on a powder charge, I'm now tinkering with seating depth (which in my experience does make a difference) to really hone things. I'm at a pause right now while I wait for my Redding micrometer seating stem to get here from Midway. Will report back!
