Swaged the crimped primer pockets and annealed some Hornady .308 Win brass then made them .358 Win brass.

Finished my batch of 6.5 Creed. I've been chipping away at my 20 gauge hulls too, down to about 100 empties.

I did fail at my goal of filing every empty in the house during February, but probably have a years supply of everything stocked up

About to start experimenting with the NAS3 cases.

I bought 20 round of loaded ammo so I could pull bullets and hopefully see what type of powder they are using.







Charge weight with 150 NBT bullets is 50.5 grains of unidentifiable powder. Looks like a flattened ball powder with either a copper removing agent or a temp stabilization agent. Has that tan/green color like Varget or H4895.





Factory ammo on left, reseated one on right. I pulled the 150 NBT with my RCBS collet die with about the same effort as a brass cased cartridge. The I ran it through my Redding bushing neck die with no issues, set final neck diameter with a mandrel then seated the 168ABLR with no perceivable additional effort above a typical brass cased cartridge.

Set the rock chucker up with the rcbs ram priming tool to prime more cases.

Loaded up some 135 SMK with n160 and some 140 TGK with RL23 for a 270 ladder test.

Also loaded a some 150 TTSX for my 30-06 to confirm some data and play with seating depth a little.

Today I deprimed, cleaned, annealed, sized, chamfered and de-burred over 400pc of 223 and 150pc of 6.5 Creedmoor.

I did much the same but with more 6.5 creed and different brown water.
Also spent 2.5 days cleaning out and unf*cking my shop. Even found my work bench top for the first time in a year.

Prepped 300 357 cases. Primed and loaded 100 of them, 11grs AA7 behind 50 Nosler sphg 158gr and 50 Sierra jsp 158 gr. Will see which one shoots the best out of my Dan Wesson 15-2. Have to wait for a little warmer weather. Below zero in the morning and teens mid afternoon aren't good shooting weather for an old man.

Put together a ladder test while I'm waiting for my 1:8t 223 Rem 700 to get to the gun shop. Loaded 77 smk with h4895 from 22gr-24gr at 2.26 coal.

Yesterday I finished the 20 gauge stockpile. Reloading season is over, time to get back to the range.

First use of my SAC barrel vice. Worked like a charm to pull a Aero barrel of an Aero Solus. Now, I just need that HCA 25 CM to show up.

It always feels good when you buy the expensive tool that’s supposed to make your life easy…and it does!
