What did you do in the reloading room today?

I received 50pcs of Norma 30-06 brass in the mail. Ran them over my .3055 mandrel, cleaned up the case mouths, and took measurements to log into the load book. Unsure of what I will load them with but needed some brass for another 30-06 rifle.

Rimmed or rimless? What rifle? Interesting cartridge…
Rimless.

Manzella Precision built the rifle for me on a Lone Peak Fuzion action with a Brux Barrel. I have been extremely pleased with the accuracy.

5 shots at 100 using a 210g Barnes TSX over RL15.

This is the reamer drawing JGS did for me. I used Peterson 280AI brass and necked them up to .338. Fireforming was still necessary because the 8.5 is longer than the parent cartridge, but it formed very easily .

Prepped and primed 100 6.5 PRC cases. Took FOREVER with the God forsaken Forster Co-Ax. What a piece of trash. So glad to be done!

Loaded some 6.5PRC with H4831. Still trying to push velocity with the Nosler 150gr ABLR. Also loaded some 150gr SMK's to see if I can make these bullets group at all.

Also included a group from this past weekend. With 53.0grs of the H4831 pushing the 150 ABLR bullet. I was only at 2710 MV so hopefully it'll stay tight as I continue to add powder.

Cleaned!!! So I can finally reload! 😂
My bench is in the garage so it becomes the catch all for kids, wife and my loose items. First items in the list to reload is work up 243 load and a lever action 25-35 load.
I feel like most of us understand your pain sir.

Today I loaded a small amount of rounds to test for pressure signs in a new rifle and prepped some brass for follow up loads. Seeing what other people are doing in their loading rooms motivates me to spend more time doing something I enjoy and don’t do enough of.

Post up what you’ve been doing as big or as little of a job as it might be, hell even cleaning up your bench counts!

Well if cleaning your bench counts I mounted a platform to a small dolly. It’s for my coax press I mounted on a bench grinder stand. I roll it in and out of my closet. Great space saver.

I admire the guntubers on the Internet who have just the few reloading tools they are using. Mine always looks like yours. lol. Inescapable; even when I do reloading on my large dining room table.Actually, the third photo is a pretty orderly session for me. Yup, I sure know what clutter is. LMAO

First use of my SAC barrel vice. Worked like a charm to pull a Aero barrel of an Aero Solus. Now, I just need that HCA 25 CM to show up.

It always feels good when you buy the expensive tool that’s supposed to make your life easy…and it does!
After I got sticker shock placing an order for mandrels, pin gauges and turning tool from
K&M precision, I had my doubts after seeing Redding had sets for less. But yes, they worked out good enough and share your sentiment. Good to see your satisfied with your purchase. I’m still a bit in the rationalization phase. But our toys that we love are worth it. Especially for our firearms. Enjoy.😉

Started cleaning up the reloading benches, yes that is more than one, so I can start a marathon of reloading. Brass and bullets have arrived for 223 and 243. Dies for the 243 come tomorrow and more bullets and a Henderson trimmer next week. Have a $500 voucher at RCBS and a $300 one at Hodgdon that I am trying to figure out what to spend on. Got a lot of new toys to feed.
