I loaded 600 rounds of 9mm today ( in about 2hrs, god bless progressives.).

I have enough data now that I will be putting together an initial review of my new Lee pro 6000 progressive tomorrow.

So, casting and loading .38 wadcutters is what's on the menu. Started a pistol range down in the woods as an adjunct to the 3D range.... then the snow/ice hit. Going down there to shoot the #14 today.

Loaded up 50 rounds of 260 for fire forming in my “rebuilt” 260 ackley

Loaded up some 75 ELDMs over N140 for my .223 CTR. Gonna shoot TAC Bolt in a couple of local matches. Started at 24.0 and that may be where I stop. A little slower than I wanted but it stacked them in there. I don’t know if the first one was cold bore, new powder bullet combo or me but the next nine were as tight as a me and this rifle can shoot

Loaded a ladder for pressure testing for my 6.5 PRC. 143 eldx’s and H1000. Started seeing slight pressure at 59.0gr. I tried the H1000 because that’s what I already had. Going to try H4831 and N565 next. I think I can squeeze a little more velocity out of it.

N565 was only a little bit faster in mine, but clear precision winner. I pressured out around 58gr in fireformed brass. 56.5gr runs super smooth in all temps and about 2900fps in a 21" tube suppressed.

Thanks for the info. N656 was my next test as soon as I can find some. I think I have a lead on some about an hour away from me. And most of the treads I have read mention 56.5 of N565 lol. The H1000 is super promising but at 59.0 grains I was only at 2938fps. I think I can get a little more out of N565. I have a Tikka T3X with a factory barrel chopped at 21” running it suppressed.

I am also getting ready to setup a Dillon 550 That I inherited so that I can shoot more, and spend less time reloading.

Technically yesterday- loaded up 20, .338 win mag with 230gr eldx and 70gr of h4350.

Got some interesting results. That is a book max load for 2800-ish fps. Mine were 2895-2920. I do have a 26" barrel vs the books 24" test barrel but thats the first time I ever had this rifle clock over the book numbers. Its always slower. There is a chance my chronograph is just a lying POS, i couldnt shoot far yesterday to find out. The group sucked and the recoil was very horrible so im going to back them down to 69 grains. 2800 fps is all I want.

For starters..

Mine sucked with large primers but bust out the small primers. And it was double feeds, flipped primers, jams, you name it. I hope whoever packaged that POS steps on a lego every night.

Loaded up 100 223s and 100 6 creeds last night, have to load for an NRL match this weekend and a PRS match next weekend. Shooting matches and practicing a lot has kept me busy pretty much every night when the kids go down.

That's exactly what I'm shooting, a D18 chopped to the end of the flutes. I don't think you'll gain much in speed, but if it's like mine it will shoot lights out. N560 might give you more velocity, but from what I've read it's a bit more temp sensitive. I've also heard a lot of good things about H4831.

N560 might be faster with the 143. It was with the 140’s in my 20” barrel.
