What did you do in the reloading room today?

Been using a rcbs priming tool for near 20 years and it has sucked since day 1. Bought the frankford arsenal one. Cant believe it I put up with the rcbs for so long. Total game change :ROFLMAO:

Going to look into that one. I've also had an RCBS priming tool for probably 15 years and it's time for something better.

Oh, im playing with a new 25-06. Formed some brass off 30-06 cause I heard you could. Stuffing them with 57gr of imr 4350. The load groups about .6" when I do my part. I tried the load in some new 25-06 hornady brass i bought, the hornady brass is 125fps slow, and an inch lower than the fed / rem mix. Also the weatherby / howa has a 6" vertical shift with & without the dead air primal.

Also messed with a cortina v3 tuner on my 223 heavy varmit, it shifted groups around but didn't noticeably improve them. That being said it's a new barrel & i don't have a ton of data on the rig. Initial results were not dramatic.

Looks like I'm gonna be about 1000 grains of benchmark short of loading up all my tmks. Kind of annoying to make 1350 of one recipe and 50 of another, so I'm mulling that situation over while my hands recover from chamfer and deburr work. Cranked out another hundred 20 gauge too, probably have 500 more to get through this bucket of hulls.

Mine sucked with large primers but bust out the small primers. And it was double feeds, flipped primers, jams, you name it. I hope whoever packaged that POS steps on a lego every night.

Really nice having a primer tray bigger than a thing of primers. It does use its own style of shell holder, so dont go thinkin you're going to get a deal on a complete set of shell holders :ROFLMAO:

Yep that’s all the same problems I’ve had with mine. I’ve learned how to work around them mostly but that doesn’t make it a good experience. Tryimg to dump a full pack of primers into the too-small round tray is the one that really gets me :D

Building a new load for my LRKM in the 338 Terminator
Tossed about 250 75gr amax's into some range brass.

I miss those days..

I use their hand priming tool for over 20 years and love it. Which one are you talking of

Loaded up some 75 ELDMs over N140 for my .223 CTR. Gonna shoot TAC Bolt in a couple of local matches. Started at 24.0 and that may be where I stop. A little slower than I wanted but it stacked them in there. I don’t know if the first one was cold bore, new powder bullet combo or me but the next nine were as tight as a me and this rifle can shootCAP_54AB9E3B-7EF4-4CA9-953F-BEC25211BEE4.jpegimage_cropper_5A12CD31-FCCF-4AEA-8D2F-033F2E493DE2-93240-000064260F2DC6C3.jpeg

Loaded a ladder for pressure testing for my 6.5 PRC. 143 eldx’s and H1000. Started seeing slight pressure at 59.0gr. I tried the H1000 because that’s what I already had. Going to try H4831 and N565 next. I think I can squeeze a little more velocity out of it.
N565 was only a little bit faster in mine, but clear precision winner. I pressured out around 58gr in fireformed brass. 56.5gr runs super smooth in all temps and about 2900fps in a 21" tube suppressed.
