RIP doesLoaded up 30 rounds of late season doe medicine.
That'll give you a great sample size.Loaded 50 more 223 with W748 and hornady #2270 & #2270C 25 of each. Expecting warmer weather to shoot.
I hope the hornady #2270C shoot well (cheap) cuz I am not interested in shooting FMJ ‘s due to poor accuracy usually. I do have a supply of hornady #2275 HP which was the most accurate in my 22-250 but that bullet is discontinued. That'll give you a great sample size.![]()
I think we're going to need some details there, sir. You can't drop a 64 year old ammo post and just walk away!Pulled some Nosler partitions from ammo loaded in 1962. The groove has lathe marks.
Guy at work gave me four partial boxes. Don't know if the bullet pic is clear enough.I think we're going to need some details there, sir. You can't drop a 64 year old ammo post and just walk away!![]()
Bound to be surplus 4831 powderGuy at work gave me four partial boxes. Don't know if the bullet pic is clear enough.
Clear enough for me. Those sure are lathe marks. I love the "4831" on the reloading label, which is almost certainly WWII surplus powder as others mentioned. That stuff was a boon to olde tyme reloaders, as it was quite a bit slower than the new production H4831. I'm sure quite a few rifles saw some damage as a result of using the same powder charge with the new stuff.Guy at work gave me four partial boxes. Don't know if the bullet pic is clear enough.
