What did you do in the reloading room today?

Finished my test loads for the Tikka T3X 6.5x55SE. Trying an Nosler Accubond 140gr with a COAL of 3.074, which is based off its favorite ammunition that shoots inside MOA, a Sako super Hammerhead 140gr that they no longer make and I’m running out of.

Running REM 9 1/2s with H4381SC from 43 -46.6 (inside max) at 0.3 gr increments out of Sako brass. 3 at each step, so we’ll see where the plateaus are (and if I can match the velocity off the factory).

With that job out of the way until I get to the range and test (oh for a non windy day), it’s on to getting the 280AI stuff ready for new rifle.

Loaded 100 rounds of .260 Rem with 130 Accubond for a buddy of mine.

Loaded 50 Rounds of 300PRC with 215 Hybrids for my hunting buddy as well.

Loaded up rounds to ladder test my 300 wsm. Grouping's have been slowly increasing, going to try load testing it again but I think this barrel might be done.

Picked up a SAC Nexus a couple months back - my current bench is getting a little crowded, so I decided to put together this mini bench (from Harbor Freight).

Just need to get a piece of plywood cut to make the bottom shelf, then good to go.

Working up a load for the 60 gr Vmax in my Tikka 223 CTR. Tired of staring at them on the shelf. Loading with TAC. Will see which groups best then bulk load for prairie dogs.

Just hit 2k on the barrel and it’s still shooting well. Have a proof prefit ready to go, but haven’t spun it on yet since the factory barrel is doing so well.

I did similar yesterday with 53 gn vmax for the same gun with about 3K rounds on it

25.8 gn 4895, 3315 fps

Loaded 4 rounds for my wildcat 7 mm. Used 56 grains of H4350, a 140 grain Sierra, and a Winchester LRM. Used a 7 rem mag case that I ran through my sizer. Shot one for shits and giggles tonight and everything looks good as far as a visual inspection

Deburred a bunch of 6.5 brass, and ordered some 300 norma equip, for when my 300 arrives around christmas..... lol.

Swaged and annealed 150 Lake City 5.56 cases. Looking forward to using the Hornady 3-1 trimmer this time around.

Had a Lee Deluxe Quick trim trimmer and a quick trim die show up unexpectedly last night. Got excited and went to trimming on the brass I tumbled the other day. It took me an hour or better to do 20 pieces. So while I appreciate the thought of who ever sent it to me, I don't know that I like the tool all that great. Got a RCBS trimmer showing up Friday but I might take all my cases to a buddy who has an electric one for now

I decided to write down my tried and true recipes so the next time I have a bright idea of trying something new, I dont.

Polished off the last of my stash of IMR-4955 loading some 30-06. It's too bad Hodgdon discontinued that Enduron line of powders; I always had good results with them. :(

Figured out I crushed 8 cases some how, almost had 20 loaded up. Now down to 12 after loading a few more last night
