What did you do in the reloading room today?

Last night I sized/deprimed. And then primed about 400 9mm cases for some subsonic loads. I had been slacking on any reloading lately

Loaded up about 3 sets of 25 rounds each on a few different powder charges for 9mm to test out as prep for upcoming USPSA season.

Shooting a different bullet, new recipe, and testing out some different recoil springs etc.

Broke two shitty Lee priming tools, both pretty well used , maybe 3 years and worn out.
Rem primers (fat) in Euro brass ( tight).
I generally like the lee priming tools because they are fast and when they are new they work great, but I’m done with them now, broken way too many

I’ve broken one, but I really like the bench mounted priming tool from Lee

All I did yesterday was clean up my bench a little.


I still use the Lee hand primer. The older versions. My thumbs don’t like me after doing a hundred or so cases, but they work well. I would buy them when people sold them for cheap, so I have about 6 of them total to use for spare parts if needed.

Knob 12...good choice!!

It is a tasty one. Im a fan of the Knob Creek Single Barrels. The 12 year at 100 proof is easy to sip. My wife picked that up for us a few weeks ago. She does not buy nearly as many bottles of Bourbon and Rye that I do, but anytime she comes home with a bottle it is a good one.

Worked on bumping up my 300 blackout subsonic loads. 190 gr are at 1000fps, and my 220gr are at 850. Trying to get both closer to 1050.

Accurate 1680, seems to run my 10.5" AR pistol well. I am new to the Blackout, and will probably mostly shoot supers, but I had to make some quiet stuff also.

Im using 11.5 grains for my 220s. Getting 950 fps out of my 8 inch barrel. Good groups, proper feeding and bolt lock back.

That might get you close to your goal with a 10.5

Finished the 101 357 mag, charged with 300MP seated 158 grain Montana Gold bullets and crimped with Lee factory crimp die.

Bought a lee pro 6000 progressive for 9mm uspsa reloading.

Working on setup this weekend.

I bought some bullets for a good price but they were moly coated so I tumbled them in a closed bottle with media to remove the moly came out good after tumbling a few hours

Loaded 223 ammo for practice and matches. 77 SMK over TAC for gas gun matches and practice.
75 ELDM over N140 for bolt gun.

Tis the season for reloading. I've put together 900 223/77 tmks on the last couple weeks, have 500 more to go this week.

Did 2.5 gallons of 20 gauge, have a 5 gallon bucket to go.

Switching over to 6.5 Creed hopefully next week.
