I just bought an Annealeze. Do you do that then size? I guess what’s your order?

There are probably other ways or a different order to do this. This is just my way I’ve come to listening and watching others.

You want to anneal before you size to put your brass back to “factory” hardness. That Is the short way to put it.

Some don’t clean or decap before annealing I do mainly because my brass always has mud or dirt on it. So if your brass is concrete shooting bench clean I’d just anneal it first.

I’ve loaded up 95gr SST’s and 95gr Nos BT’s for the 243
Also some 130 TMK’s for the 6.5 Creedmoor.

Prepped a bunch of .270 brass for a 110gr TTSX load im working on.
Also spent an hour learning GRT so I can get prepped for the arrival of my 6mm ARC. Currently looking at a ladder test with the max of 29gr of Varget under an 80gr TTSX for a super light recoiling deer anchor.

I have a fantastic load for your 270 combo using Reloader 17, but Alliant powder is a PITA these days. Sending them at just shy of 3400fps is a freaking laser beam. I shot three deer on a hunting trip a while back and the effects were spectacular. You will be quite happy!

Twenty five 410 00 buck 4 pellet loads today. X-Ring survival loader but can’t get enough precrimp with the MEC tool so still closing crimps with narrow screw driver and then a 5/16 Allen wrench to indent the crimp. Small hole often center of crimp so glue was added. The X-Ring still has its good points and glad I bought instead of continuing to use homemade tools.

What kind of glue and I imagine those cases are toast once they are fired?

Elmer’s or whatever you have. I think the hulls will be fine. These shells won’t be shot anytime soon so I wanted them sealed. Candle wax or nail polish are options.
I can shoot a couple and find out though.

Just shot 1 round of the buckshot with glued crimp. Hull is fine, some dried glue came off the empty with a lite finger nail touch.
15 yard pattern with my grandmas old single shot 2 1/2” 410.

Finally acquired most of the pieces of gear I wanted to start reloading. starting with my 6.5cm.

Sized my brass, trimmed, chamfered, and deburred. Primed up and loaded 25 rounds to start my load development.

Since hunting season is basically over, time to refocus on high volume pistol shooting for summer.

Processed a few hundred 44 Mag brass (punk!) and should get them finished tomorrow.

Shot the last of my 108s yesterday and ran a quick ladder on the 112 Match Burners.

The middle of the road charges seemed to shoot best. 40.5gr and 41gr at .47" and .53", respectively. The Hornady 105s and 108s have shown a preference for a little more powder.

Got all 36 cases cleaned and prepped for next week when my next batch of 108s arrive.
