It is kind of like that old saying about the difference between art and pornography ... Hard to define, but I know it when I see it.

It depends where I'm hunting... In my home zone here in CA a 150" buck is a giant... Most 4pts here are considered nice bucks..

Obviously I was on the wrong forum when I posted this...lol

Big bucks will be different for everyone. One that makes your heart go pitter-patter is big enough. They are out there...this is one that did it for me.

Hope I get to WY again soon.

I agree with you guys. Just getting a little feel for what you guys think. My bench mark is 80 inch as well. Pronghorns sure are pretty

80" is my bench mark, I absolutely love freak bucks and bucks with great mass and high, long prongs. I don't really care about length.

Well said J-Rod!!! I haven't gotten to do a whole lot of antelope hunting and so I look for that HOLY $#!+ factor or just a legal buck :) By "book" standards I would say for archery 75" and better is a GREAT goat.

PS If anyone has any info they would be willing to share with me for OTC ANTELOPE in Colorado PLEASE PM me.

I am with Jason and Evan....75"+ would be big in my eyes for archery. With that said, if you see one you like I wouldn't get too hung up on score. They are a tricky animal to field judge.

My semantics are almost comical at times....I say things like, "he's pretty big, not huge, but big." As if there is an actual difference between big and huge? Back to the point, I typically hunt in areas without a lot of trophy potential. Therefore, anything over 70" is probably big to me (not huge though!) :)

I'd say anything with horns and in range would be big enough for me! That coming from a guy who has had 3 tags for 3 different states in his pocket, several opportunities to kill BIG, Medium and small goats, but that darn arrow could never find it's mark. Needless to say, I am to the point that the next goat to walk within range, no matter the size, will be BIG enough for me :)

After I have one under my belt, 67" or bigger is what PY says, so that will be my benchmark.
