Hey guys. Drew a tag in a wilderness area with rough hiking and I need to upgrade boots. The problem is, I need a boot that's actually designed for human feet. I don't have a wide foot in the heel but I need a wide toe box to keep my pinky toes happy. I have some Lems that fit well, but want a more traditional boot, with drop and cushioning, as I can't wear the barefoot style all day.
Do any other makers have mountain boots that are anatomically correct, with standard heels but wider toe boxes now that you can't get new Ancash boots?
Again I don't have wide feet, they're just foot shaped. Simply being wide results in a boot that might or might not fit in the toe but it's too wide everywhere else.
I do have very high arches/instep and have to use orthotics or I will be in heavy pain before too long, so I have to be able to fit a stiff orthotic.
