An interesting turn of events.

The Kansas AG is reviewing Governor Kelly’s order here in Kansas to decide if it is enforceable.
I think almost all the orders have been unenforceable. But 90% have decided they can limit their travel, go to the grocery store less and wouldn't go to a restaurant even if they are open.

A very small percentage, the same ones who brag about having a bunker and being able to live off their cash for years, thinks it's a violation of the constitution that they can't get their hair cut or dine in at red lobster.

I think most of us are somewhere in between. My hair's growing out and I'd like to go to the dentist, but even if the Chris Stapleton concert I have tickets to in 3 weeks happened, I'm not going.

I guess I'd say 90% are following our governor's orders. But that doesn't really mean stay home all the time.

I go to the grocery store every 2-3 weeks, but still get out to fish, hunt, ride my bike, foreage, etc.

But that all still means I'm following the "stay at home order"

We don't have any orders here. They shut some businesses down for a month but they are back open. Restaurants are full, mall parking lot was full over the weekend. Two little bars in town I live in. They have never dropped off.

Gym actually has had more people than normal at noon when I go.

Starting our Little League baseball stuff this weekend.

Not even close to 90% here. I'd say closer to 10% are staying home.

About the same here. My neighbors (70’s and the wife has COPD) had a van and suburban full of family over today. Usually they have some every other weekend, but these were even different ones. Across the street has 5 cars in front of the house that I don’t recognize. This has been happening for about a month now. People are no longer living in fear.

This is also in a county that didn’t push to open this Friday. 1 of 3 out of 36... 33 of our counties are trying to start Phase 1 this week. Anddd we have had a total of 14 Covid deaths in 3 months here...

Well I'm not sure how you said not even close to 90% here are following the order, if there's no order in place?

Was responding to that. I didn't take it as following the order. Thought you meant people were voluntarily doing those things.

I guess here it's hard to say what's voluntary and what's done because there's an order in place.

I've certainly violated the order, and will be again this weekend to go fishing.

Part of our order says to limit travel to 10 miles for recreation. And I feel that I can go a bit farthe safely without spreading my shit (if I have it) to anyone else where I go.

Way earlier in this thread I mentioned my wife and I have some friends who are nurses. The one that works in Seattle just told my wife she is being forced to take a week off with no pay. It could be more than that, but they are starting with one week for now. Poopy!

And I think i said way back your wife’s friend must work at the same place as my friend. I got a text from her yesterday saying the same thing.

the fact is emergency services never kept a hospital system alive. It’s the constant flow of regular procedures, both in- and out-patient. And I am in the camp that all those people NOT going to the dr during this will also pay a health price.

what a mess.

My gym also opens monday. Have to make reservations now to workout and you only get 1 hour.... Other gyms in the valley are not putting restrictions like those on. I may be switching gyms here shortly...

I’m not limiting shit. Just went to a casino and had fried chicken yesterday. Been shopping all over trying to boost the hell out of this economy. Sportsman’ Warehouse had a few good virus sales. Washing the hell out of our hands but people with masks outside are starting to look quite silly.

People in their mask while driving is what looks extremely silly lol.

"people with masks outside are starting to look quite silly."

I went over to a younger kids place I work with some weeks back. He was playing some game that the objective was to create a virus and to spread it as far as he could to kill off the world population. Many humans with facemasks in the game.

I feel like a lot of this is just that. Its like a bunch of people with money decided to mess with humanity and are probably laughing it up seeing all of us peasants walking around with face condoms on as if we are in the video games they created.

Beyond that, it is really pretty trippy to see all of the old TV, movie and video game clips from decades past of what we are living real life in today.

Even trippier is to think of the technology they had in the 50s....I'm sure what they have now contacts demonic forces many would call "aliens" or "extraterrestrials"
Hell. When was ET filmed? ... okay okay...let's bot go there....

My friends cousin died from suspected COVID complications. She was sick for a week, developed pneumonia and was put on a ventilator.

She was 39 years old with diabetes. Still waiting on lung biopsy for results.
