What are you buying? - Black Friday

wearing one right now. Shirts are a decent base layer especially for the price. The bottoms are cut weird with seems in the wrong areas.
I also have and use the 32 degree base layer tops. Really like them, light warm, comfy ,durable and CHEAP. got mine at costco on sale for 2 for $12 bucks.
I've got several.

Not the best I have, but definitely the cheapest.

Worth it even at regular price.
Checked Costco and they have two packs for 10.99. Bought two sets of tops and bottoms for me and a set of tops and bottom for my wife. Guess we will see how well they work.

Yeah keep an eye out as winter fades, they get stupid cheap(<$5) at Costco . I have a drawer full of unopened ones....

There’s no odor control, thumb holes, or other features that the high end ones have but they wick and dry well. Stretch well and haven’t shrunk. Don’t think I would use them on a long backpack trip but for day use they’re great.

I planned to order another barrel which I did.

Rounded off that purchase with dies, brass, bullets, 8lb of powder and another brick of primers... Ouch

The deals were out there to justify at the moment and I also wanted to be ahead of the stupid excise tax CO voted in on guns/ammo/components/etc. I will try very hard to contribute as little money as possible to that BS going forward, which is unfortunate for Colorado businesses but I don't want to contribute to that fund which doesn't pay back into conservation or such. Just an antigun money grab.

My current set was not cheap and even after a couple days of wearing them, they stink. I wore them for 6 days straight basically a couple weeks ago...when you can smell yourself, its bad.

Yeah nothing crazy. 3-6 mile pack in and outs tops. I don't do overnighter yet. Want something I can compress down good and use for a daybag with plenty of organization, but can also haul in some 15x, a spotter, some clothes, day food, and haul an animal out. I currently use a badlands superday and 2200. I don't like the 2200. The superday would be excellent if it had a frame. I also have $50 in Kuiu rewards so with a sale that really gets the price down. If I ever decide I want to do big long hunts, especially for elk or other larger game, I think an exo would be in my future. As is I do muley archery and am going to attempt pronghorn, thats it.
K4 2200, plus or minus a lid, plus or minus Stone Glacier side bags is very versatile.

My setup this year was primarily no lid, with the side bags. Outter layers in the side bags, spotter in main bag with kill kit and accessory bag, snacks on hip. TP readily accessible up top.

It looks like you can preview the Kuiu cyber sale and I don't see the packs listed. If thats the case the K4 setup ends up being the same price or a tad cheaper and it's probably what I will go with then. I'll look into the SG side bags, thanks.

I've also toyed with getting the k4 2200 system and buying a kuiu 4500 bag and seeing if it will dapt well enough to use.

Don’t forget to at least look at initial ascent… I snagged one this last year and am tremendously happy with it…. They also have some “BF” discounts through tomorrow

I'm going to keep an eye on deals for a scope to put on a semi-cheap .223 my grandkids will eventually use and might get myself an onx Hunt Elite membership. Oh, and looking at a good day pack as well.

Scheels has a Vortex Diamondback scope for $99 that would be perfect for you
