What does your rifle weigh with the bravo?
Go to Buda or Eurooptic to see who makes one.
Of the group Springfield, Ruger, Savage and Bergara, none of them have excite me for the $.
Ruger should at least provide the most options that check the most boxes. Short threaded barrel. Bolt, trigger and just livable as I have one. Stock is junk IMO. Go Ruger. Throw it in a bravo and you decrease feeding issues. All in for $1000
UM might be able to do that (or close) with a T3x in a Rokstok.Under $1500
No way.UM might be able to do that (or close) with a T3x in a Rokstok.
Currently just paid to do this with an 18" preferred prefit and SS action from LS Wild - he's spinning new 6 CM barrel on action which I also purchased from him. He'll send them with or without a stock, comes with bottom metal/mag/trigger. Good deal for sure.I'd just commission someone to put it together for you. A Tikka donor + LS Wild prefit should end up under $1500. I thought LS wild might be putting them together to sell that way?
243 works too.
I'd agree that most existing factory options aren't particularly enticing. PH3 are nice but pretty heavy.
Their "Tier 1" tikka build is a factory tikka that they cerakote, muzzle thread, and put in a rokstok - $1686. Maybe some savings if a guy doesn't need muzzle threads? They don't rechamber?

Prefit Barrel is threaded and was unfluted so $507 as bead blasted, plus $750 for the SS actionwhats the price?
