Well I thought I’d been on here more than I have so I figured I’d introduce myself. I lived in NM for almost 5 yrs and now am back in my home state of NC. I miss the west like crazy and am working on understanding as many states as possible to get back out there every yr if able. Looking forward to picking peoples brains in here!

Where in NC? I'm in VA not far from NC. I hunt out west 2-3 times per year. Since you've now left NM it'll be a LOT harder to ever hunt there again.

Elkstabber I’m in Lexington NC. Where are you in VA? I plan on getting west every fall at least once. I also plan on hunting NM as much as possible. I made some great connections there.

Gotcha. I've been to Lexington and had some great BBQ. Also fished High Rock Lake a few times.

Anyhow, I'm in the country west of Suffolk.
