I'm fine, although my hat got blown back about ten feet. I was halfway through my draw when the chaos occurred.

Looks like one of the limbs split. String and cables are fine, cams look fine as well. It's a 2016 Defiant Turbo. I think I'm going to use this as an excuse to get a less aggressive, more forgiving bow.

Lol... it's a compression stocking i have to wear on my rleft leg due to a chronic condition i have. I was croc'in it while I was shooting so no other socks.

Wow, that is a new one. I have heard of Hoyt limbs splintering quite a bit, but never a failure.

I wouldn't use that as an excuse to stop making fun of Bowtech. That is the brand I have owned the least 2 for just a couple/few years) but had the most limb issues with. I've probably owned 7-8 Hoyts over the past 15 years with never an issue that went beyond cosmetic.
