Weatherby rifle build

Has anyone here ordered a custom rifle directly from the Weatherby website? If so, how long did it take to receive your rifle from the time the order was placed?

I saw on their website that build times are 90 days or more. I have a hunt planned, and if I placed the order today, I’d only have about 15 days before I leave once the rifle arrived—and that’s assuming it was completed within the 90-day estimate. I’m trying to decide if that’s enough time or if I should look at other options.

No experience ordering from Weatherby. But for gun builds of any kind, over the years I've come to rely on it being like digging into a house project, or working on your car: always double the amount of time you think it's going to take, and usually double the money too.

I ordered one from the Weatherby Custom Shop back in 2024 and it took 5 months.

I drew a mountain goat tag in Alaska and i got a model 307 alpine carbon in 6.5 prc
