I've got 4 mule deer points for Colorado, and I was thinking about putting in for unit 74 for the fourth season. Just wondering how the Snow accumulation is?

Ok thank you for the info. I'm really tying to avoid getting caught in high elevation snowstorm.La Nina years will tend to be lighter accumulation in the Southwest. If its an El Nino "Modecki" (That's a transitional term), that will favor the biggest snow years. That being said, we are in a La Nina year and had a rather big snow event during late October this year and more snow during 4th Rifle. The vast majority of the years, there is enough snow in the high country by 4th rifle to have pushed migratory deer down to mid to lower elevations. Bigger snow down low will concentrate them even more.

Congratulations, everyone with a few points and considering 74/75 will find this thread with a 4 second Google search.OK thank you very much. The weather can definitely be unpredictable. I have four mule deer points. I'm just trying to figure out a good unit to burn them on.
