Waters Rifleman Tikka Magazine On-Going Review/Installation Instructions

@mxgsfmdpx @cal30_sniper What length of 223 waters mags do have? 2.4 or 2.6? Any feeding or reliability issues? I've read a couple comments that maybe the 2.6 didn’t feed as well. Thanks for any feedback.

2.4. No issues other than having to file them to why them to seat in two different Tikka 223s.

They feed and function flawlessly after that.

Forgive me for going a little off topic but I’ve got to give a big shoutout to Dave Waters of Waters Rifleman. Bought his short action ai bottom metal for my tikka so I could use the 3 round mdt 308 magazines and I’m absolutely impressed with the whole transaction. I recommend if you go this route, forgo the files and just use a dremel.

Have you tried using a CTR bottom metal and using MDT polymers? Curious why most do not try this. The MDT polymers work great in my chassis guns. I am thinking about trying it on my next tikka to keep my magazines all similar and universal.

Would definitely be worth trying. I personally have not given that a go.
