Waterfowl shotguns rambling and observation

Used to have a Remington 1100 Magnum. Wish I had just cerakoted and kept it. Thing shot like a dream. It was just too shiny for the turkey woods and I sold it.
Huh???? My uncle killed a pile of turkeys with his "shiny" 1100, he bought it new in the 60's when they first came out. I inherited it. Now, I kill one every year with that gun, along with others. That 3" 1100 may not put the pattern in these "new guns with TSS" do, but the turkeys haven't been able to tell me the difference. I loved that man, every time I kill one with his 1100 or model 12, or even carry them in the woods or handle them at home, --------- It just takes me back to better times, no a different time, but he, my Aunt and Granny are still there in "those" times.

Now, the problem with the 1100 for waterfowl would be the old barrels can't handle this "new" stuff.

I run a Winchester sx4. Hasn’t missed a beat for me. Also have a 3” beretta a300. It’s a backup and she’s fast

I think they all have similarities bc there are only so many variations one can make to an auto loading shotgun before it no longer is an auto loading shotgun. Aside from visuals.

All gas systems will be close, all intertidal will be close. When you buy diff brands your buying diff levels of quality, fit and function, looks, customer service, and some in house fine tuning or differences
