Ive got a cheapo $39 timex ironman that I wear only during elk season. It sits in a drawer the other 51 weeks a year. I love a decent watch but we can't wear them at work, so mine and my wedding ring sit in a drawer.

I do like Casio's, but can't seem to get this timex to quit. I have never replaced the battery in 4 years (it is digital though)

Casio F-91W, 7 year battery life, just toss it out when the battery dies. Not really though, but it's a solid basic watch.

I wear a Gamin Fenix 5 and I love it, no replaceable battery, just recharge via USB every 12 days or so. It's the polar opposite of a basic watch.

About 5yrs ago I had a el cheapo watch ruined after a sim round popped out the lens. I bought a Casio G-Shock. Never looked back. I wear it everyday and it serves me well. I think I paid 50 bucks for it.

Same boat Here - Don't get me started man ! I bought 3 SUUNTOs because they are the rage on most reviews and forums. They are junk (in my personal experience) - never again. And what pisses me off the most, is that so many people love them and have never had an issue. All of mine have been warrantied. I am bit by that company.

I slipped while fly fishing with Suunto Traverse. Lugs do not have metal inserts and it stretched lug hole out. Keeps falling off. Have to send to suunto to replace body.

I am running a Vestal watch- that has everything I need. barometer, altimeter... it has been indestructible. I think it was a couple hundred dollars. I would buy a new one in a heartbeat if this thing ever dies.

I’m in law enforcement and I abuse watches. I went through a Suunto in about 3 months before going to a G-Shock Rangeman. This this is bulletproof. I wear it everyday at work and it still looks new. Lots of features too

I know one place where you can get really cool swiss replica watches. I know that you would say that you will never wear a replica watch but who cares. When I asked my friend where he bought his Rolex and for how much he told me about one place where you can get a really good quality replica watch. I ordered one pair of Patek Philippe and when my package arrived I was very impressed how good they look. Already past couple of years but they still work without any issue. I am really glad that I found this place. I am thinking about buying one more pair.

i have some killer watches. high end ones with precious metals.. i also have a Garmin Instinct.

you know what? i keep coming back to this. it is maybe 23 years old and i have beat on it for a long time. it has been to 7 different countries..jungle treks, mountain hikes..been on my wrist when i had to take a motor in and out (repeatedly) of a vintage porsche 911 when i found out i left out a very important piece. (flywheel. opps) i recently put it back on my wrist because i started kayak fishing. total newbie. it felt like the correct watch to wear while trying to drag my ass back up on an overturned kayak. :)

if i were you. i would find an older Pathfinder. mine is the 1300PAG or something. i have only had to change the watchband once. never needs a battery, or need me to set the time..it sets itself everynight while i am asleep. i see them on the e-bay.
