Warmest tent? (no stoves)

I sleep perfectly warm, but it seems like my tent is always cold. I hate waking up early to start hunting, and having to freeze as I crawl out of my quilt/bag and get dressed.

I'm looking for a lightweight tent that actually retains some of my body heat. Maybe I need a double walled tent with 2 solid walls. But it needs to be lightweight and easily moved (10-14d backpack hunts).

Or maybe I need to just stop being a baby.... :)

Any suggestions?

I tried to find a tent that has as little mesh as possible. I didn't want 4 season because they are heavier and im not hunting super cold times of year. Temps drop into high teens. I ended up with beg agnes seed house sl1. Im a very cold sleeper and use a zero degree bag. Im pretty happy with the seedhouse.

Look for a small mountaineering expedition tent with solid double walls, but the key to keeping a tent dry inside is lots of ventilation, (a dry tent being more important than being cold in the mornings) which lets heat out, so I'm not sure the answer you want exists.

This style is the warmest I found, but as mentioned, it it holds heat, it holds moisture. A couple tricks I use is to sleep with thermarest heat pads, the bigs ones for low back pain, just a giant heat pad that last 12 hours or so, great for cold sits too. I will also have my jetboil ready so I can reach out and light it without the cup, just the burner,, only takes a minute or so to really warm up a small space, use all due care etc,, etc,,

One thing you can do is run the MSR Micron Lantern for some heat in the tent for mornings. Does wonders in a small tent.
Yep I do the same. I was in the Big Agnes 2man Copper Spur into the 20s this last weekend and it kept the heat in pretty well. Had minimal condensation but that was because I was boiling water on the side of tent while I laid inside. Before that didn't have much at all. The Copper Spur UL 2 man is my hands down favorite freestanding Tent. Great space and its Comfortable with room for me and my gear.

I'm not seeing a MSR micro lantern when I ask google. Any chance you got a link?

Well, as one of the oldtimer Alaska mountaineer once said, "if you want to be comfortable, stay at home."

Don't think what you want actually exists but i'll echo what others have said---quality double wall 4 season tent followed by a small heat source in the mornings, i.e. stove or lantern.

a double wall will be warmer then a single wall but without a heat source a warm tent in the morning means your sleep system wasn't working.

Short of insulating the tent (CRAZY heavy) this is a lost cause, sleeping with some of your clothing system already on is another way around the problem.

My Hilleberg Akto warms up (relatively speaking) in the morning when I wake up and make coffee and breakfast in the jetboil. I might try a micro lantern for second season and see how it does.
