Here is your chance to hang from the trees in comfort and off the ground in style. The Ridgerunner is a stomach/side sleepers dream. The Ridgerunner lays you flat hanging from the trees. If you are a Hammock camper then you know what Im talking about. This is a far cry from a regular Hammock. It comes with Whoppies and is a double layer Multicam version. (No longer made by warrbonnet) This also comes installed Mysquito netting attached that completely covers you to keep the bugs away while your sleeping. or if you dont want to use it you just unzip it and roll it up in a pouch at the end of the hammock. The Warbonnet RR comes with side pockets for those quick access things you want to get to while your floating blissfully through the air. The beauty and comfort of the Ridge Runner comes from the Spread bars that lays the camper flat and not all burritoed up like a standard hammock. Those are also included. Tree straps and caribiners also are included.

It has a weight capacity of 250 lbs but I had it warranty upgraded with better webbing and it now can push north of that if your a big guy.

You can use either a 25 inch wide Pad or you can use a underquilt with this Hammock. I used a Qcore 25 inch wide mat and you side it in between the bottom hammock layers. Works perfectly and can keep you warm below freezing.

But wait there is more. Im also adding in the Warbonnet Ridgerunner Spindrift. This is a shell you put around the hammock that has double doors so now you are completely enclosed in the hammock and trapping heat this also keeps the rain and snow off you.(not recommended for all night rain storms. A Tarp works much better)

The Spindrift has double doors so you can enter and exit it on either side. This Spindrift has been modified so you can take it off the hammock and put it on without having to take the Hammock apart. The original build only allows you put it on hammock by taking it down and taking it apart to add it. This now can be done while the hammock is hanging with very little effort. Also there was mesh netting added on each side for air flow so that you dont have an issue with condensation.

I am also adding in a Arrowhead Ridgerunner Underquilt that takes it down to 20 degrees. Its a 3/4 quilt to keep the weight at the lowest.

From Warbonnet Website

The Ridgerunner (RR) is our full-featured Bridge-style hammock. It fits a user up to 6’6″ and is made from breathable water-resistent fabric. Just like the Blackbird it can be used on the ground as a bug bivy, just make sure to use a groundcloth to protect the fabric. The netting unzips on 3 sides and stuffs into a storage pocket at the foot-end of the hammock. The RR has general purpose storage pockets on each side of the hammock which we call “saddlebags” , they hang on the outside of the hammock but are accessible from the inside without having to unzip the netting, they also remain fully functional when the netting is packed away. The RR is available in a single or double layer body just like the Blackbird to facilitate pad use or heavier individuals.

Here is a photo of when I had Spindrift on it. Again Tarp is not included. But I can give you the guys name who makes the Multicam tarp in the photos :D

What's the weight on that setup?

Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

The Ridgerunner with Spread bars is 2 lbs 9 ounces.

The Spindrift is 10.25 ounces but thats for stock. This one has some velcro and netting added to modify it so you can put it on without taking hammock apart. Id have to weigh it to see if that changed.

The 3/4 Jarbridge Quilt runs 18 ounces.

So it comes in under 5 lbs. for the full setup. But keep in mind that we dont include Pad weight with our shelter weight =-)

So Id still say depending on tarp weight your around 4-5 lbs.

I also forgot to mention you can use the Spindrift as a Poncho also it has a hood cutout in it for slipping over your head
