Wanted to share a good little item I found: Sling saver

Hey guys, I was apprehensive about jumping into the gunbearer because i didnt mind having my gun on my shoulder, just hated that it kept falling off. I picked this up for about 9 bucks.

Nothing fancy, but does as it says. I was able to use both my trekking poles with it without any issues.

Here's another good way to keep it on your shoulder. I really like this thing. It is quiet and sticks like glue.

Thats a pretty handy item there. Only thing that would keep me from using it, is my gun is a bit top heavy and likes to swing back away from my body... almost like I need to use a shotgun sling so I can attach it higher...

Hey guys I use the Slingsaver on a regular basis. This thing is great, even if your gun is top heavy as mine is you can adjust it down your pack strap a little bit until you get your riffle where you like it. Does it 'pinch' your sling to keep it from sliding forward/backward too?

not by design, but with my butler creek sling it molds around it and stays in place. I really like it
