Just placed an order for a pack of the 300 grain left bevel omegas from VPA. Never used them before, but have always liked their 3 blades so I figured id try them out for situations i might want a little deeper penetration. They were definitely expensive, so we'll see how they do on a feral hog opportunity ive got coming up in a couple weeks.

Has anyone had experience with them?

Only have experience with the 3 blades. But the whole line up has a good reputation.

I have used n still have an extra pack left of there VPA 1 1/4 " two blade , double bevel 250 grn . I paid $56;_ including delivery for these . They also sell these in three hundred grn for around 60 bucks . I would purchase them again in a heartbeat, as I have experienced excellent results shooting them at 52 lb pull from my recurve. 10-45 carbon 50 -52 rockwell steel on d screw in blades .

I have not shot any critters with them, and I don’t like single bevels, but I appreciate the design of them so much I bought some (mine are 125’s) but they are a tank of a head, and such a clever head, I’ll have some in my quiver

Super easy to sharpen, even the bleeders… very cool heads

Update

Just got them in the mail today and im impressed. Extremely well made as expected from VPA and a cool design, pretty close to hunting sharp out of the box aswell just needs a few passes on the extra fine stone and a strop. Theyre flying like darts, grouping right with my field points. Definitely smaller CD then then the 1 ½" 3 blades ive been using the past 2 deer seasons, but a 300 grain single bevel out of a #85 @ 28" blacktail recurve, i dont think much will stop these things lol. Hopefully will have a chance to test them out for real here soon 🍻
