Vortex Viper 65mm or Razor 50mm

I'm going with a Vortex in the 600ish range. I want to be able to identify bulls and bucks (I'll shoot anything that's not a spike or small rag horn) from miles out. No need to count points for me. Weight is a minor, secondary concern.

Would the higher lense quality of the Razor mean better long-range glassing or the larger magnification of the Viper? I glass with the spotter 2-4 miles away regularly. I want the best glass possible for the price range.

Following this. I have the viper 65MM and have always wondered if I should have went with the 50mm razor

Own the 50 and IMO it's nothing to write home about... Gave it to my 13 year old along with the 10x42 Vortex binos (which are decent) I have.
I have not used the Vortex 65 but it couldn't possibly be worse than the 50.

I didn't get a lot of responses here but I wanted to close the loop. After the research that I did, I decided to go with the Viper 65s. I think it will help me glass up farther distances which helps in big country. The lens is plenty clear, which was the main benefit I was thinking the Razor 50mm would provide. Weight wasn't a deciding factor for me.
