Vortex Fury 500 $699 at Sportsmans Warehouse

I think “what you’re forgetting” is that they’re Vortex. A lot of glass snobs are going to comment how Vortex is shit, and you should spend 5x more, without acknowledging you may not have or want to spend $3k on this piece of equipment.

I’d buy them at this price of if I needed new 10x binos. My main caveat is that I’d rather have Sig image stabilized binos than a combo range finder. Those are more expensive, though.

These are the non-AB model. Even in this $600-$800 price range, this model doesn't compete well against other options.

Sig Kilo 6k 10x42 $1300
GPO Rangeguide 10x40 $1300

Vortex at $700 seems pretty good

Listing MSRP instead of list price to try to manipulate people is disgusting.

1. The 10x42 Kilo 6k HDX has a ballistics solver, and goes for ~$900. The 10x32 Kilo 6k is $729 at Eurooptic. The fury non-ab is more comparable to the Canyon model which is $649 right this second at Eurooptic

2. The GPO 10x40 can be had for under $999, the 10x32 is $799 at Cameraland

Stop being disingenuous.

You don’t have to call me disgusting to inflate your own sense of superiority. I asked if you had examples and you named brands. I did a quick google search and that’s what I found as comparables near the 10x42 size with a rangefinder.

Personally I’m looking for 10x42, x32 is too small for me so I wasn’t looking at those. 8x is not enough magnification for me, so not looking at those either.

Have some coffee and have a nice day. Out

Not sure what your getting at here, or why your so frustrated. OP posted a reduced price item. If you do not like it, or it makes you angry, you can just scroll on.

I have used fury's and thought they looked pretty good. The range finder was really, really good compared to the Leicas my shooting mates had.

Most of my guns are good with quick drop, so the solver is not a need. In fact, for all my friends that have rangefinders with a solver, I'm not sure any of them actually use it.

Plus, if the fury is discounted and it needs to be replaced, a guy might be able to upgrade.

I didn't know the fury's would be so controversial 🤣🤣

It's a good deal thanks for sharing. I sold mine but found myself deliberating over buying another pair for that price. Nobody comes close to vortex's warranty on rangefinders despite what some claim
