I know they are discontinuing these for a newer version sometime in '26, but for a guy to use quick drop with a non-AB version, this seems like a good deal, unless I'm missing something?

I think “what you’re forgetting” is that they’re Vortex. A lot of glass snobs are going to comment how Vortex is shit, and you should spend 5x more, without acknowledging you may not have or want to spend $3k on this piece of equipment.
What are other options in this price range? These are the non-AB model. Even in this $600-$800 price range, this model doesn't compete well against other options.
What are other options in this price range?
Sig Kilo 6k 10x42 $1300
GPO Rangeguide 10x40 $1300
Vortex at $700 seems pretty good
You don’t have to call me disgusting to inflate your own sense of superiority. I asked if you had examples and you named brands. I did a quick google search and that’s what I found as comparables near the 10x42 size with a rangefinder.Listing MSRP instead of list price to try to manipulate people is disgusting.
1. The 10x42 Kilo 6k HDX has a ballistics solver, and goes for ~$900. The 10x32 Kilo 6k is $729 at Eurooptic. The fury non-ab is more comparable to the Canyon model which is $649 right this second at Eurooptic
2. The GPO 10x40 can be had for under $999, the 10x32 is $799 at Cameraland
Stop being disingenuous.
