I received this brand new AMG from vortex after smashing the original last year when my 6 day pack and rifle took a long trip down an avy shoot into some talus. I mounted this scope on my new rifle this spring but never fired it. I torqued the rings at 16 in-lbs (vortex spec) in Warne Mtn Tactical rings and you can just see ring marks if you try in the right light, other than that she is sparkly new.
Im going to try a Mil scope and this safe queen needs a new home. The AMG (before this new one) kicked major ass and survived and held zero,tracked perfectly after many falls, subzero hunts and ATV trails in CO, NM and WY.
