Vivo forest tracker esc durability

What did you use the clean them before applying? I actually have shoegoo already, but was going to order the Aquaseal SR
I personally haven't had much luck with Shoe Goo in the past - it hasn't been very robust, and peeled off easily. I haven't used other products, but I'd personally be looking at other options first before Shoe Goo.

I'm experiencing that right now on another pair. That is why I'm going to try that aqualseal on the ESC's (unless there's something better.

There was another one used originally in this thread called Barge cement. I'm not sure which type and if they used anything else. I seem to remember maybe they used something first on the outsole to give the cement something to adhere to due to the type of rubber compound.

I know I emailed vivo and aquaseal to ensure the two were compatible and they are.

Sand, degreaser (I used acetone), apply

Question for the collective… What are y’all doing to attach gaiters? More specifically, the front of my gaiters has a hook to engage with boot laces, but this lands well beyond where the laces start on the Vivo Trackers. I wore them once, hooked to nothing, but it looks like there will be a wear / rubbing issue if done this way regularly.
