Vivo forest tracker esc durability

Never have, this is my first go at it. I did order a size smaller as well. This current size I’m betting I could put 3 pairs of socks on and still have plenty of room so they do seem a tad big. But, I’ll know quickly when I put the size smaller on how those feel.
Got it.

What you might find is that the smaller ones feel better - perhaps hang onto the larger ones, wear the smaller ones for a year or so, and check your foot size periodically ... after a year, you might need the larger size.

To some of the posts above. I don’t think folks realize that you have a shoe size length and then an arch size length measurement as well. Get properly measured by someone who knows what they are doing.

You need to try out what works for landing on sizing. My feet measure at 10.5 but my arch measurement is for 12.5 size shoes.

For backpacking I error on having a bit of extra length so the feet can move freely a bit in the shoe on steep and slippery terrain. This is with both “approach shoes” and boots.

Nit all shoe sizes are the same across brands as most are aware.

So I was thinking of buying some Vivos, but my 14 year old daughter showed me her boots. She spent her hard earned money on these, and I’m a bit pissed. How they treat the warranty repair will directly affect if I buy any boots from them. The stitching is coming out of one sole and the eyelet broke on the other. Keep in mind these aren’t that old, she treated them well, and this is the result:

So recently just dealt with their customer service as ive worn a hole in the sole of the boots. I was outside of the 6 month warranty window as I bought them 9 months ago. I had to email a few photos and They sent me a return label and refunded the entire cost of the boots. They also gave me a 10% off code to buy a new pair of my choice.

I thought it was pretty fair all around.

That’s a good barometer that I can use for when I talk to them. Thank you

Warranty update: the first person I talked to said because we purchased the boots through Amazon, they were not covered by the warranty. I took that rejection, let the rage fuel me… then I called back and got someone else. They were more helpful. After a little work, they agreed to replace the boots. I think this is the proper answer. Just because I bought the boots from the Vivo storefront on Amazon doesn’t make them any less their boots, and their responsibility to fix defective products. Knowing what I know now, I would only buy from their official website.

That is definitely good to know. Thanks for updating.
