Vehicle paint protection?

My brother uses color matched wax, looks pretty good when he's done.

Front and full side body protection film was about $2500 when I bought my new truck. I didn't do it but wished I had at least done the front. New truck paint is primer and rattle can now, soft as hell (on my f150 anyway). The front will rock chip just looking at it.

The amount of rock chips on the front of my aluminum f150 when I had it was amazing. The paint on the sides was pretty easy to buff out though.
