So I picked up an Optimus terra he pot a few weeks back, did a trip with it and have been pretty happy, but is it any better then my existing vargo ti mug/pot?
Weights Optimus 285g vs 132g vargo
Boil time for for 400ml of cold water Optimus 3 1/2mins vs 5 1/2mins vargo
Fuel consumption Optimus 6g vs 8g vargo
You'd get approximately 27, 400ml boils with the vargo vs 36 with the Optimus
All on a snowpeak gigawatt
So the Optimus pot boils quicker with less fuel meaning that you potentially need to take fewer or smaller canisters with you, however it costs you 153g or 5 1/2oz but gives you 9 more 400ml boils
